Only available for 3 days and only one dollar …

I present you … my mini kit “Bliss”,exclusively available at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio and only available until 31 October 2016, 5:59 pm EST. And the best news … it’s only ONE DOLLAR. Yes, you read that right, 1$. Don’t miss it!

This mini kit was the last challenge in a series of 4 for the Next Designer Contest at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio. If you’re familiar with my freebies, you’ll see that went a bit outside my usual box of clean papers and neat patterns, which was a nice personal challenge. I hope you like it! If you decide to purchase (for which I thank you in advance), it will count as a vote in the contest.

This kit will not become available as a freebie, but if you haven’t seen them yet, please check out my previous 3 submissions in the contest, “Free for (F)all”: the PAPERS, the ELEMENTS, and last but not least, the ALPHAS.

Here are some gorgeous pages made with “Bliss” …

Digital Scrapbooking Studio – Next Designer Contest 2016

I just barely made it into voting round 3 as I was a couple of hours late posting my submission, but a fairy godmother turned back the clock a little and my submission was entered anyway.  The contest is fun, even though the schedule is quite tight. I guess that’s why it’s a contest eh!

You’ll find the download links (download links expired) in The Studio gallery, the images below are linked, just click on them. And while you’re there: if you like what you see and download, please consider voting for me HERE! Thank you!

Here’s what I submitted for round 2, an element pack:

and here’s my submission for round 3, a selection of alphas. I like doing alphas.

Also check out my post on round 1, the paper pack.

Digital Scrapbooking Studio Next Designer Contest – Round 1

The Digital Scrapbooking Studio Next Designer Contest has started … for round 1 our challenge is to make a paper pack.

If you’d like to see (or download) the wonderful creations that the contestants are coming up with, check out the contest gallery. So far, there’s a nice mixture of styles, it’s lovely to see how everyone interprets the color palette. It’s not obvious, I found, to work with a palette that you didn’t get to pick yourself :-O

If you do visit, please leave some love for the contestants … I’m sure they’ll appreciate the motivational gesture 🙂

Here’s my contribution (the download link link expired for the paper pack is in the image description in the gallery)

Next Designer Contest/Layout Artist Contest at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio

Digital Scrapbooking Studio has their annual Next Designer Contest 2016. I had heard about this contest in the past and decided to put my name down for it. Exciting! If you would like to enter this contest also, be sure to put your name down before 3 October 2016 which is when the registration closes.

There is also the Annual Layout Artist Contest 2016 – the top 5 winners in this contest will be offered a spot on their site creative team. Registration for this contest also closes on 3 October 2016.

If you’d like to have a say on which color palette will be used for the Next Designer Contest, make sure to vote for your favorite palette. Hurry though, voting ends on Friday 30 September! There are some really great palettes too. My favorites are the “Succulent Hues” palette found on Design Seeds and proposed by Julie C Design: large-succulenthues-jpg-a01d33a6b008dde11d930ee3a069b9f7

and the “Fresh Hues” palette, also via Design Seeds and proposed by AnneC:

Go on and have some fun at the Studio … either by entering one of the contests or to vote for your favorite color palette for the Next Designer Contest.

It’s very easy to enter the contest:

  1. Download the 4 parts of my 2014 Christmas freebie kit (part 1 here, part 2 here. In addition, you can also use the coordinating flairs or cards if you wish, or even the iced cookies, but the majority of your layout should use items from the Christmas kit).
  2. Make a layout with this kit.
  3. Go to my Facebook Page and upload your LO in a comment under the post announcing the  “LAYOUT CONTEST”.

I am looking forward to see your layouts!

How are the winners selected?

Terms and Conditions

You must use my 2014 Christmas freebie kit for your layout.
Upload your layout in a comment below the Layout Contest post on my Facebook page.
Be a sport and vote for a layout, by “liking” that comment. Please, don’t like your own comment/layout.
To make this contest as fun, interesting and worthwhile as possible, at least 20 people must post a layout. I reserve the right to declare the contest void if there are less than 20 posters.

How are the winners selected?

To make the contest as honest and fair as possible, the winners will be selected as follows:

A jury of  2-3 people (myself and 1-2 non-participants, either not related to my digiscrapping activities or currently not active in digiscrapping) who will select the 3 winners for the $25, $15 and $10 voucher from the 10 entries with the most votes/likes.
For all entries with at least 5 votes (with the exception of the winners of the gift vouchers), a random draw will be made (so latecomers to the contest have a fair chance also). This entry will receive a surprise prize.

Special thanks to The Urban Fairy and Mad Genius Designs:

Coming soon … your layout could win one of three prizes

Coming soon …. the chance to win a $25, $15 or $10 voucher from your favorite digiscrap store in my Christmas freebie kit layout contest!

Your layout with the Christmas freebie kit (part 1 and part 2) could win you one of the three digiscrap store gift vouchers ($25, $15 and $10) I’ll give out as prizes. And as I’m not affiliated to any store you’ll get to pick your favorite one. How nice is that!

Keep an eye out for the official announcement here on my blog and on my Facebook page and join the fun!

It’s BIG …. and it’s a freebie!

Wow …. what was meant to be a freebie mini with a couple of papers and elements turned into a megakit! I guess I got carried away … it’s not even finished yet, I’m still finalizing the elements pack (it looks there’ll be close to 100 elements) but a client needed help pronto today. But since the papers and alpha are finished, let’s start with that and I’ll upload the elements tomorrow. And guess what … I’ll have a little layout contest with this kit so you’ll have another chance to win vouchers for your favorite digiscrap store! How much fun is that!

Here we go …. the Alpha pack:

I went for a traditional Christmas color palette for this kit. I do love alternative color schemes for Christmas, but this year I’m all traditional. The kit coordinates with my earlier Christmas freebies: Christmas Flairs and Christmas Journaling/Filler Cards. And if you like Christmas cookies, then check out the Iced Christmas Cookies freebie.

And here are the papers, all 17 of them (some minikit eh!):

Check out my Facebook page or my blog for an announcement about the Elements Pack tomorrow!

And last but not least …. a little teaser announcement for you …. I’ll be having another layout contest (with the Christmas kit). Don’t miss it!
