Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Hi all … good grief, I’m so super busy work wise at the moment that I forgot all about St. Patrick’s Day. For someone who’s married to an Irishman, that is definitely not a good thing and I better get the soda breads and stew going! I still wanted to share a little something for St. Patrick’s Day with you.  Enjoy and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

International Women’s Day … celebrating with a freebie

Hi all, it’s International Women’s Day tomorrow. Let’s celebrate with a Little Something freebie! Enjoy!

Freebie – Arrow words … Awesome Add-on

Well, your inspiration for words sure got me going! Thank you Lou, Terri, Pam and Sherri for your input! Here’s the add-on:

Download the add-on HERE (sorry, no longer available)

  • some 50 additional words (told you your inspiration got me going)
  • large black versions of all words that you can style and resize however you like
  • arrow parts so you can make your own words with any font you like
  • the font I used is “Carried Away” (how appropriate!) by Emily Spadoni at Creative Market

I had great fun making these words and loved your input! Do leave me a comment or send me a mail if there’s something you’d like to see as a freebie, a special color palette, etc. I may just take up the challenge …

Freebie – Arrow words and Photoshop layer styles to recolor them

Hi all! I was playing around a bit in Photoshop today and came up with these 10 arrow words. There is also a set of styles (.asl file) to recolor them, to make them match whatever color your layout is. Note: this .asl file can only be used in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements! If you’re not sure how to install styles in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, check out this tutorial at the Lilypad.

If you are interested, I’ll do a second set of words, just leave me a comment with the word you’d like to be included in this 2nd set and I’ll do the first 10-15 or so.

OOPSIE! Forgot to include the link to this post in my email … sorry! If you read this, you found it anyway!

Download the words HERE (sorry, no longer available)

Here’s a preview of the colors that are included in the layer styles. There’s 4 versions of each color: a simple color change, color+shadow, color+extra stroke, color+extra stroke+shadow. Take your pick! No worries if the color you want isn’t included, it is easy to change the color in a style. You can also change the stroke size if you want, or play around with the shadow settings. I love layer styles just because of that: you can change them to your liking.

I was with one of my Brazilian clients yesterday and she cooked a wonderful Bobó de Camarão  for lunch (and lovely Pão de Queijo with the aperitif). Yummy! I just love Brazilian food … and all Brazilians I know are all lovely and wonderful people … so I was inspired to make some digital papers in your national colours. Enjoy!

If you are not familiar with Brazilian food and feel like trying out some recipes, check these (there are recipes in English): MoquecaBobó de CamarãoPão de Queijo (but check the ingredients first, you may need to get some items that are not available in a “regular” supermarket and you’d need a shop where they sell Brazilian foodstuffs, or perhaps they offer substitutes in the recipes).

Little Somethings 9 – colorful paper pack

Hi all! I’m definitely a spring person, I can’t wait for the trees and shrubs to bud but it’s a bit early still. The weather’s not been very nice here so I worked with some colors to get me in a spring mood. I hope you’ll enjoy this paper pack, it’s a bit different from the patterned papers I usually do. I like these colors and I may do something else with them, so stay tuned …

Finds/Trouvailles: Templates … templates … templates … Les Petits Cadeaux de Badadou

Oh my, on a little web surfing trip today, I came across this treasure trove of gorgeous and totally free templates: Les Petits Cadeaux de Badadou.  This lady is not only a talented scrapper – she sometimes uses my freebies and sends me the links, which is really nice – but she is also very generous and that I hadn’t realised. Go check out her freebies on her blog “Les Petits Cadeaux de Badadou” or her Pinterest page and find inspiration here. And do leave her some love if you download her freebies, it’s such a nice thing to do and yes, it is very much appreciated!

Merci beaucoup pour ta générosité, AMarie!

Valentine’s Day freebie

Hello all … Valentine’s Day is around the corner so I thought it would be nice to create a freebie around this theme. It’ll be no surprise that there is a lot of “love” in this kit as well as hearts …

Enjoy, happy scrapping and a happy Valentine’s Day – Joyeux Saint Valentin!

The words “decoupage sheet” in English is included in the elements download.

And because I think it’s nice to give credit, here’s a little shoutout to those digiscrap designers some of whose products I’ve used to create this Valentine kit for you: Miss Tiina, LouCee Creations, KimB, Amber Shaw and Vero, all at Sugarhillco as well as Mommyish, Just Jaimee and Kristin Aagard at The Lilypad

New – Nouveau – Nieuw – Neu …. the freebie email alert!

I’ve been asked so many times if I had a newsletter … well, I didn’t. But now I do!

I don’t really use Facebook anymore – as far as I’m concerned the race for clicks and shares to make sure your posts appear in people’s feeds was too much hassle for too little results. I’m doing my freebies for fun … If you want to make a business out of digiscrapping, you need to be prepared to spend a lot of time online, pushing your products out. I simply lack the time to do that.

But … I set up a simple newsletter form where you can leave your email address. I will send out an email whenever a new freebie gets posted, so you will never have to miss one again! As I don’t have products to market, that’s all it is, an email alert, not really a newsletter.

The email subscription form is in the sidebar and also on this page.

A vos ciseaux digitaux!
